FWIW, We just installed a Bock glass lined indirect 40SK. 40 gallons should be fine for just my wife and I with no bathtubs only showers so no big demand for mass quantities of hot water. HotRod here on the forum suggested Bock if considering a glass lined WH. Their tanks are made of thicker steel, the heat exchanger tubing is larger at 1.5 inches and they seem to have a good reputation. I like that the company is owned by the employees so they have a real interest in quality. Residential 7 year warranty is extended to lifetime if you mail or email the registration.
Plumbing Planet in CT had the best price when you include shipping costs. I've got $1130 in the Bock plus $400 in valves, parts, piping, 2 Grundfos pumps (one as a spare for the boiler or WH). I took my time doing the job and saved $2300 over what was quoted to me by two different hvac contractors.
    Good luck with your project
