insultarp R-value

Options
In general, most tarp products stack up around an R1 to a 1.65, depending on how generous you want to be and the particular product used.

Waste of money, IMHO.

Do they affix a R value to underslab insulationn like insultarp? My builder/associate is interested in speaking with an engineer to use this indsulation in lieu of 4' perimeter insul only. Engineer does not know about suggested radiant heat in this small wharehouse

and do a bit more Google research if you have time. Insultarp is NOT an equivalent for good old rigid styrofoam type insulation, and don't forget the vertical perimeter edges of the slab too.

    R-value hijinks

... and if you ever see any word or words before the "R," such as "effective" or "equivalent" or "directional" or "up" or "down," do yourself a favor and RUN!
