The Variable Speed Injection Pump output on any tekmar Mixing Control is limited to a Wet Rotor Permanent Capacitor Pump that draws less than 2.5 Amps.

As long as the Grundfos that Mr. Einsiedler refers to falls into that Category and if it gives you the flow required at the head you specified, it should work. Unfortunately, I dont have Grundfos Information in front of me right now. Am on the road.

Hope this helps.

Mike

    Hydronics Mike?

I haven't thoought this all the way through yet but I have an idea perking around in my head that has to do with variable speed injection. The question is, how big of a circ can I run with a VSI control. Something that'll do 50-60 gpm @ 3-4 ft of head?

    Grundfos

    for the flow/head given, I'd use a Grundfos UP43-110F

It will make 80+ GPM @ 5 ft head. not bad for a 1/6HP Pump.
and it will work with the 300 series VSI Controls.

    regards,
    Einsiedler

    Perfect!!

Permanent Capacitor and still a Wet Rotor? Impressive Flow Rates!
