Vortek Air Seperator quick question

I'm running 3/4 inch hot water copper lines to baseboards. I bought a Vortek Air Seperator to install. It has 1 1/4 openings for water flow. Is there any problems with using adapters to pipe this in to a 3/4 pipe system? Or am I using the wrong size?

    Huh?????

I sure hope that your not running a 3/4 line out of your boiler and then splitting it for the zones.....
I have seen that done before and it don't work so hot.
Run 1 1/4 from your boiler through the Vortec and then split to the 3/4 for your zones. Make sure you do that for the returns also.

    ????

How many zones? What GPM do you need to supply the required heat? Those are the questions you need to answer before you can determine your main piping size. 3/4" will flow 4 GPM, 1" will flow 8 GPM, 1 1/4" will flow 14 GPM, 1 1/2" will flow 22GPM. All these will deliver varying amounts of BTU's depending on the temperature drop through your system. You have to know how much you need.
