Please let me have your thoughts on this.

Joel and Scott are looking for help and I'm wondering how many others across the country are in the same position. Our emailing list has over 5,600 names on it. I was thinking about using it for a weekly Jobs Available posting. If you're looking for help you could email be a bit about your company and your needs and I'd include you in the mailing. No charge to anyone.

    Your thoughts? Pros and cons?

Thanks for all that you do for us.

    could work out well

people bounce around the country like its nothing anyway. My friend Bill Traube is looking to find a P & H job down in Frederick, Maryland, so I put him in touch with Steamhead. This could work out very well for all involved MD

  • Dan, I think its a fantastic idea. I know that I would be very interested in someone looking to move into my area. Put me on your list and let me know what other info you think would be pertinent. My company is in the northeast and we have a shortage of good Oil service techs. Anxious to hear more about it.

    What I'd need

would be the ads. I could run them each week. Just email me what you're looking for, who to contact, and like that. A normal Want ad. Thanks.

    I guess

if you're not concerned about your current boss seeing the post that would work as well.

  • Very good idea

    Dan,
As we have been using the "wall" ( based on your permission ) to post a job position in the past - using your help. I think it is a great idea to distribute open positions and find in an easy way who is lookign for a job.
    It is a blessed innitiative

    Amir!

How have you been? Sorry I missed you the last time I was out in your neighbourhood.

I agree. If Dan would start doing that for Manufacturers, Reps, Wholesalers, Contractors and for people looking for work, I think it would be well worth even paying for it, wouldn't it? Something like 20$/month. Why not?
Possibly even an area for Reps?

    Mike

    could work.

I'm looking myself for help. The trade school boy I have now for the summer has already put his size 14 feet through a ceiling, managed to "spin-art" yellow safety paint around a job site, doesn't know when to "recede" into the background when he should and shut his mouth, and drags his butt around like a tired dump truck.

    I feel better now. :)
