I think I have an under sized boiler. Is there some simple math a DIY can use to figure the load on the rad's in my house. The boiler I have puts out 450-495 EDR I think it runs to long to get steam to all of my radiators.

You also may have

an air-venting problem. Are there large vents at the ends of your steam mains? What type of system is it- one-pipe, Vapor etc.?
