we are trying to provide prints for our customers on duct work and layout of hvac systems. this is my first go at it. (no drafting table-just tacked to my wall). odoes any one know how i can do this via pc?? also my be a web site or info online about hvac symbols and diagrams?? would like to incorporate prints on the boiler piping arangement.

    I Use AutoCad 2000.

    This prog however has a high price tag & a very steep learning curve. There are other progs avail that will suffice. (i.e. visio)

    Best part of Autocad is that drwings are done in REAL scale. This allows accurate loop length data when doing RFH jobs.

    You may want to search for downloadable demos/trials to see what works best for you.

    try your local cadd drafting service....

    ...cheaper than buying Autocadd ($2k) and learning how to use it (2 year learning curve)...or hire a student...
