I have peerless boiler which has remaining life of 15-20 years. Wondering if I continue to use Peerless boiler with Carlin EZ gas conversion burner or completely switch over to navian combo. I was said that navian combo unit provides much more efficiency compared with conversion burner option. Looking for your guidance /inputs on this.

I would stay away from Navien and any combi unit but especially Navien.
If your really looking into making a boiler change and if any Energy Kinetics dealers are in your area I would go with Energy Kinetics.

A Peerless boiler should last a long time- longer than any Navien or similar unit. If I had your house, I'd go with the EZ-Gas.

Which model Peerless do you have?

So you are currently using oil?
How is domestic hot water made? Tankless coil, indirect, direct fired?
IMO, any combi would be a last resort. I would do a high efficiency boiler with an indirect and outdoor reset first.
If you're looking to convert, then as @EzzyT mentioned, look into the Energy Kinetics Frontier or Resolute. It can be installed now with oil, and easily converted to gas later.

And unless your old boiler is really poorly maintained, don't expect a huge efficiency gain with any of the possibilities.

Stay with what you have. I am assuming you already are burning gas.
