in THE MAIN WALL
My house is about 100 years old with cast iron radiators on a single thermostat. I'm ok with drafty and temperature swings because it's always been that way as I work towards making it better. I replaced the old furnace and set up second zone for future connection to two rooms that never had heat. I'm running oxygen free pex to buderus radiators in the new rooms. In each room, there are two radiators about 6' apart. One room is close to the furnace - about 15' and the other is about 35'. Should I do all home runs to a manifold or just 1 run to each room ? Will there be a big difference in efficiency? Thanks for your time.

    You could put two in series in the same room, use an H valve so you can balance output. As long as they are sized to the SWT they will see.

    No harm in doing a home run, either will work.
