Calculating Head Pressure loss

Hi, I am trying to figure out what size circulator pump I need for a heating system install. When calculating head pressure on a system with zone valves, do I consider the longest run in a zone as well as the supply and return lines from the boiler? For example, I have total supply and return line length at 208 ft and one of my five zones has a run of 145 ft. Please let me know as I don't want to buy the wrong circulator.

    If you have several zones the longest zone usually has the most head loss, but it depends on the pipe size and the flow through the pipe.

    The common piping in and out of the boiler and the boiler itself is calculated separately using the total flow (as if all zones are on) and that total is added to the zone with the highest head loss
