This job is a remodel of an old Victorian with a new addition. The upper circulator serves the old section which has a monoflo loop and CI rads. The new part will connect to the Cross manifold and it has a combination of CI rads and new Baseray.

We did enough to get the boiler fired off to heat the indirect. More pics and info to come.

Awesome as always. I want to work for Bob when I grow up.
I’m sure you were under the gun to get the hw on.
Too bad you couldn’t paint the plywood.

This is the second job we've installed them on, but haven't fired them off yet.

They're easy to install, my only complaints are that they don't offer the connectors in 5/8" and you can't swap the supply and return manifold positions. You can rotate them, but not swap.

Looking good! I just geared up for a similar setup this afternoon, UFT-100W and SSU-45 going in a 3 zone radiant shed/house combo with Cross manifolds.

Side note: Someone pointed out to me awhile ago that on page 18 of the manual it states that only brass, copper, or SS fittings can be used in the system- which is funny given they provide black fittings for the relief. Ever get any grief on that?

I've never heard of that, nor can I find it in the I/O manual.

Page 18, in one of those shaded boxes in the upper left that nobody ever reads. Says something about dielectric unions and galvanized fittings voiding the warranty, then follows up with brass, copper, or SS only. I don't have it in front of me at the moment but I know it's on page 18. Kind of a poorly worded statement like several other things in the I/O but I'd have a hard time believing they'd void a warranty over malleable fittings. Worth taking a look for yourself and see what you think

I just read that part in the manual and states nothing about the use of black pipe and fittings voiding warranty just says galvanized fittings and dielectric unions.

I would think that if a boiler manufacturer said that black iron/steel would void the warranty, that rules out pretty much any system retrofit. Or any water system installed before about 1960, which would be 100% iron.

Love the piping ... So you make up your own LLH ? What's the line going out of the top of the LLH?

How do you like the HTP? -- I have to pick a boiler soon (propane)

I don't want to speak for @Ironman but I believe that is the make up water line connected to the top
You can have it good, fast or cheap. Pick two

    I wouldn't use it if I didn't like it.

Got it .... Although sometimes things get specified. Seems everybody has a reason to love or hate the same boiler. In my area most of the installers seem to have moved from Viessmann -- because of unresolved warranty issues.

So I'm looking for another make.

No more pictures ... ? I like the setup ... are you adding mixing motors or are they static valves.

The manifolds are cool -- a bit expensive. I'm not sure if they will give me anything with my new house mostly warm board
