Drop header pictures seem to show sub stantial slope how much is necessary also can I take two inch equalizer All the way back to boiler and connect Hartford with two by one and one half by two reducing t

    I slope mine to a bare minimum. I like the look of straight pipes lol. I think just enough pitch to make sure no condensate lays in the horizontal should be fine. And piping the equalizer full size all the way to the return is the best way to go.

    As long as the bubble breaks level in the vial, you should be all set. Alot of our drop headers set their own pitch (visibly) because we take the next larger size nipple for the downstream riser drop to header. If that makes any sense.
