New fuel pump

Hi all my furnace leaks oil about 10 drops after it shuts of if the pressure is to high will that make it drip

    Could be a number of things. You need to call a pro. Where are you located?

    Drip where? Out of the nozzle? Nozzle line? Fuel pump? Oil filter? Help us help you.

    Underneith the pump I killed the power and opened the transformer and it is wet in there .

    Leave it off until you get a competent oil technician to diagnose and repair. Pressure has nothing to do with it.

    Could be a leaking pump seal. Or a bad nozzle, burner head fouled.

    Either way you need a professional to look at it
