Radiator to fit 17-inch wall width

Options
I am redecorating my kitchen and looking to find a radiator that will fit a 17.5 inch wall including valves. We need around 4000 BTUs for a hydronic system. Is there such a radiator that will fit in this mall in opening?

Is there such a thing as a silent under cabinet radiator? I hate blower noise in the am.

Thanks,

Steve

Runtal has a wide selection of verticals. I've seen some with hooks to hang jackets and hats on.

You can also custom build a radiant wall, should be able to get 25- 30 but per square foot from a radiant wall. Just use some ThermoFin and sheetrock or wood over them.

    I second Runtal:

5 tube 14.3" width you will need about a 6' height assuming 180 degree average temperature. Depends on the operating temp of your system to size properly.

I like Runtal as well and I especially like their towel warmers in kitchens and bathrooms.

They have a TW21, 61" high x 16" wide that has an output of 3520 BTU's at 180°F water temperature.

With all the appliances in the kitchen generating heat, I don't think you would miss the 500 BTU shortfall.
    8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab

    Biasi/ Purmo makes a 16 wide x 36 high panel radiator.
    4240 btu.
A lot less $$$ than Runtal
