Update: Vent hoods! Everything look right?

So a while back, a eagle eyed reader noticed my hot water heaters did not have vent hoods on them and that was a serious safety issue. See first photo. They had an air intake a few feet down the main duct to the left.

So I got a legit plumber in there who added vent hoods to both water heaters and removed the air intake from the duct. As you can see, this exhaust duct meets up with the duct coming out of our steam boiler and then runs up through the chimney. See second photo.

Does this all look right now?
The plumber did a test using a blown-out match near the vent hood to see if it was drawing air in.
He said he knew the vent hoods were required but he actually liked how the original setup was working better.
Any thoughts on this?
Anyone notice anything else that’s an issue in photos?
Thank you all for your help!

The second tank should have a Y and 45 and not a T connection.

You're right but it looks a little tight to swing a wye in there unless he moves the whole enchilada closer to the wall.

But does the exhaust set-up look fine?
Is it ok for the water heater exhaust to connect up with the boiler exhaust?

If the boiler is gas fired also, yes, as long as the flue pipe is sized correctly for the BTU output. Like @Henry said, there should be a wye fitting at the 2nd water heater.

There was/is a "draft hood" over by the chimney for the WH flue. Not sure if that meets code. Also is there enough rise in the WH flue?
