Found this place at Chicago Midway Airport, where Southwest operates from for Chicagoland. Apparently this is a branch location- the main location is near Wrigley Field:

This place is worth the trip: https://www.powerhouseeatery.co/

You dine under the remnants of the water-tube boiler. The menu covers are made of old steam-products literature. And the food's pretty good!

Probably a rooftop unit- I didn't have time to look.

We consolidated an old WW2 weapons factory called FMC or United Defense, depending on the time frame, in Fridley, MN in 2014-15. Took it down from the original 2 million square feet to the current 475,000 sq ft. The original boiler room from 1942 is no longer part of any building, but remains free standing and I'm told is being converted to a brewhouse of some sort. I was there to the 475k facility to cut in some 10&12" OS&Y valves about a month ago and saw a crew working on the old boiler house across the property. Still sporting the old 120ft tall brick stacks, should be a pretty cool place

That place looks cool Dan. Pre-war era industrial is both art and function. Love those big HXers.

And it’s right on the highway. I drive by it for years before checking it out with friends at nearby convention. Sure glad we did.
