Great story Dan. Danny & The Dinosaur was my favorite book when I was a wee lad. Wish I still had my original copy. I read it to my kids when they were little. They loved it.

I'm just south pf Boston and Lime day was last week around here, I was looking out my back door this morning and found the old rum cherry tree was in bloom. It's a very old tree and it overshadowed by some large maple trees but it still puts on a show every year.

When I was still working in Watertown the engineering conference room was next to my office, one of it's windows overlooked the Mt Auburn cemetery. their are hundreds of different trees from all over the world in that cemetery and as a result it has an extended lime day as the different species bud and leaf out. I used to make a point of walking through it every spring to just lose myself in it's beauty.

I've always thought of spring being our reward for getting through another winter.

Lime Day was scheduled for today in Rochester, NH (20 miles inland and 225' up from York, ME), but postponed due to snow.

At long last, I can declare Lime Day in Rochester, NH!. Four days later than last year, although last year we didn't have a name for it. It will from now on. Thank you, Dan.

To those in the Northeast Kingdom, Coos County NH, The County in ME, and La Belle Province, have faith, it's coming! Let us know!

As I read this and died laughing, I was reading it in your voice... You and Mike Rowe do that to me. Birds of a same feather.
    :-)
It's not so much a case of "You got what you paid for", as it is a matter of "You DIDN'T get what you DIDN'T pay for, and you're NOT going to get what you thought you were in the way of comfort". Borrowed from Heatboy.
