I fell for that many years ago with Interburner and Blue Ray. I'll wait for field results here.0

But when they claimed such savings for flame-retention burners over older designs, the savings were real............All Steamed Up, Inc.

Some years ago, I installed a Beckett NX burner on my old Burnham V-14. But before I did, I tuned the existing Sunray FC Bantam burner and printed the results. When I tuned the NX, I printed its results too. For this test, both burners were running the same nozzle capacity at 100 PSI.
The Sunray tuned up nicely, but the NX could reach a higher CO2 level with zero smoke. This also resulted in a lower stack temperature. The difference wasn't huge, but it was noticeable. I probably still have those printouts somewhere.
The flame pattern I see in the videos tells me this might just be an evolution of flame-retention. But I'll take an evolution.
