Wildly excited about my new balancing valves (Caleffi).

My techs are installing 34 of these this week in one of the biggest homes in Manhattan in the West Village neighborhood. Some rich guy lives there and wants "quality everything" under his roof to keep his family warm.
Who am I to argue?

A magnet drives the Caleffi Quicksetter's meter scale indicator so the window never gets gunked up with schmutz. Flow rate is easily set by using the hand wheel and watching the scale. It comes with a full-size, pre-formed insulating jacket. It works with glycol (up to 50%).
And it looks very cool.
Does my hand look fat?

And don't worry. I'm going to pitch it toward the equalizer.

I've used them. They're awesome. Caleffi is a very forward thinking company.

I've driven through Manhattan once and the cabbies there amaze me. They move in and out of traffic like there's no way in the world there gonna hit someone or be hit. I'm from Chicago, not exactly a little town with the friendliest of drivers but that experience was like driving on another planet. I can't imagine doing that with my work truck.

Thanks John for the Caleffi choice.

Looks like a hard working "man hand" to me. Something Seinfeld would notice, also.

"I'LL CALL A PLUMBER RIGHT NOW!" The Seinfeld episode where they were arguing about whether or not one could pee in the shower. lol

I love those flow setters for adding supplemental heat to a under powered radiant floor. The flow setter and a temp gauge on the supply and return and you can make that rad or convector produce exactly the right amount of heat.

    Good stuff!

    Great valves.

It looks like a "Mann Hand" to me, (although a little arthritic). ;)
