Jomar Filter Ball Valve

Has anyone used this valve before? It's pictured bottom left. I thought I'd try it instead of a y-strainer. You close the valve, unscrew the hex plug, and remove/replace the strainer and only lose a few ounces of water/glycol mix in this snowmelt application.

I used them in the past. It is a very small capacity screen, they tend to plug, or reduce flow quickly.
