I visited their factory in Germany a few years ago and was so impressed with their manufacturing capabilities and service. Now I'm delighted to be able to offfer their analyzers in our Store. Check them out here: http://www.heatinghelp.com/categories/Tools/33/1

I am ready for new testers

and looked into them a little, but never seen one in person, will they demo for me, I could probably get a few other companies to take a look at them. I was going to go with Testo because of their replaceable sensor, I use UEI rite now, and they are ok, very affordable, and reliable, but nothing fancy by any means...

I am the type that would need to stick it in the flue pipe before I commit, maybe we can get one up here to put my fingers on. Do they have a rep up here? I can host them at my shop or maybe Tim would be interested in helping...

I was going to purchase the testo's next week, I was working on getting a good price but now with Dan saying these are good I am back on the fence...

    Choose one.

Work with it for a month. If you're not happy, send it back for a full refund. Good deal?

I've also visited Testo in Germany.

It's a fine company and they make great products. For me, it usually comes down to the people behind the product. I make a call based on what I see and hear when I visit a factory. I watch the way they make things, do business, help customers, about the future and just plain think. It was at Wohler that I first saw 3-D printing, and this was some years ago. They were making lots of prototypes as they developed the ergonomic, one-hand approach to their analyzers. I was with a bunch of techs on that trip and they really liked what they were seeing. Wohler kept trying out different shapes on the printer because of the size of people's hands and they way those hands work. That impressed me because it said a lot about their concern for their customers. They listen and they respond.

There were also contractors there who were bringing in analyzers for service. Wohler's quickness in taking care of everyone just made me smile. They understand the value of the technician's time.
