    that's exactly what he does.

I'm certain he, is right now, sitting at his desk, with his scientific calculator, figuring out the complexities of say, 2 plus 1 equals 3:)!!

    Pretty soon

Pretty soon the questions will be like.......

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow (in MPH)?  Wrong answer gets you thrown off the bridge.

I wonder if anyone gets the reference......

    Basic Math Challenged:

I'm seriously math challenged and I haven't found a problem except when it involves zero's. Of which I am considered one. Here's why.

The "Normal" average person can remember 7 numbers ahead and three numbers backwards (11234567, 765) in any combination. If you wonder why you can't remember a measurement of a piece of pipe you need to cut of 127 3/4", that's 5 digits. If you need to also cut another piece of pipe, 34 1/2", that is four digits and makes a total of 9 digits you need to store in your upstairs RAM. If you didn't write it down, you will have probably forgotten ALL the numbers. If you remember the first 127 3/4", you are normal. I can remember 5 or 6 at the most. I write it down. The same metric measure is 327.5 mm, 4 digits. 34 1/2" equals 87.5 mm, 3 digits for a total of 7 digits. Like counting money. 100 mm Millimeters are a buck, 10 dimes are a buck. and on and on. I can add up installed copper pipe but when I hit 100, I start to get in trouble. I stop at around and over 120 " and call it a 10". Then I start over on the next 10".

Don't switch to that "Captur" thing with the distorted symbols. It's all gibberish to me. The only thing I have to remember about the math system in place is that the subtraction problems never are less than zero and I subtract the big number from the smaller number and what is left is the answer.

Why must I have to do it 4 or 5 times to get thru? I find it annoying

    I wonder...

Is everyone joking? I am starting to wonder.

As a reference, my third grader is about 50 for 50. I don't think he is trying very hard.

    Security check

Do the math, click on the box labeled Security Check Answer and insert the answer then click on anywhere outside the box and only then click on Submit Post. Works first time every time.

Not saying it's broke at all. Just odd that it deleted the post rather than let me do the math.

Also, wasn't complaining. It was a joke. It's always worked fine otherwise.

    Also

If I am in the middle of a post and want to scroll down and enlarge one of the photos, when I enlarge it, my post gets deleted. I have learned to work around it by opening another window and looking at the photo there. Might just be my computer. But just like everything in this industry, where there's a will there's a way. (it just may take a while to figure it out) :)

I as well have never had a problem with the math question.

I've been bit by that one more than once

Every few months I forget about it and lose another post.

If I'm posting a lengthy reply I find the safest thing is to write in a text editor and copy/paste into the form.
