Cool old stuff

Worked on the second oldest house in Davenport IA circa 1852 approx. The Moline system works great after a little tlc. both lwco's plugged 100%.  Brought my apprentice down to see the history not only of the home,  but of the men who came before us.

    trying to guess

Some of the really old ones are kind of obscure, so I'm trying to guess which house this might be. I'm gonna guess the place up on clay street with an LGB setting in a pit. I'm probably wrong though. Lots of great old houses in D'port.

OK, Steamy confirmed the location of the house. Nicholas wants pics, and here is a link to the zillow information for when it was on the market.

It was built 1852 in Davenport, Iowa when the population was just 3,500 people. A short 6 years later the town had grown to 16,677!
