BTU output for steam boiler

My radiators E.D.R.is 210 sq.ft. or requiring 50,400 BTUs of Boiler output.  The closest Weil McLean gas fired unit is 47,000 BTUs.  Would I be making a mistake getting a boiler that is 7% smaller than calculated or should I look for another vender to fit the 51,000 BTUs calculated.

    Undersized-a bit

If you go with that size, then make sure the main venting is super sized, and the radiator venting is more restrictive to get the steam into the mains first, and then rising up each riser simultaneously.

You could check with the manufacturer if the burner could be up fired a tiny bit to compensate. I would like to hear others opinions on this.

Insulation on the pipes would be a must with this.--NBC
