I would like to find the pressure rating of old American Standard cast iron radiators, once used for steam,  to consider if they can be used for hot water conversion above 50 psig.  New cast iron radiators seem to be only rated to 30 psig water, and 15 psig steam.

    Interesting, I never really thought about their pressure rating. If the new ones are rated at 30 psi I doubt the old ones would be rated at a higher pressure.

    Probably cost prohibitive but the only way I can think of reusing them would be a plate and frame hx for the lower sections of the building where the pressure is the highest.

    The radiators are all tested to 50 psi. Does not matter if they are steam or water.
