    Thats true...

I was thing about him... I was watching an episode of  house strange House and the "Sleeper" house was featured. I remember awhile back he said he was doing work there. About 1/2 way through, sure enough... there he was working on the manifold.... decked out in his overalls!

Up to my butt in alligators...

and still looking for the drain to the swamp...

I took on the job of Chairman for the RPA on the Education Committee, and it is a LOT of work. Plus, as Dan said, I am concentrating on the radiant windows and their promotion/application.

In addition to all of that, I have been inundated with work... Paying work.

Still here, just busier than a cat on a hot tin roof, with the runs...

Hope all you east coasters are fairing the storm. Looks devastating from my perspective. Good thoughts headed your way.

It's not so much a case of "You got what you paid for", as it is a matter of "You DIDN'T get what you DIDN'T pay for, and you're NOT going to get what you thought you were in the way of comfort". Borrowed from Heatboy.

    Thanks for the good wishes.

It's really bad here right now. A million homes are without power. We didn't lose power but we did lose a good part of the roof. Good to be on this side of the lawn!

    Maybe...

.... we could assemble a work crew to come and fix your roof!  You know a bunch of talented contractors.  Is it tarped off now?

    Thanks for the thought

I can just see my height-challenged buddies up there with wrenches. ;-)

We have a crew on the case. So much damage around here!

    I'd bet...

... that crew is busy!  I sorta like heights.... was familiar with the view from up in the trees by the time I was seven.  Aside from the really hard work, roofing is fun.
