h b Smmith Boiler

I have an h b Smith boiler model G100-W-6 HSID when the t-stat calls for heat everything works the pump turns on the zone valve opens the hot surface ignition control gets power the glow coil comes on the gas valve open and the burner ignights but it only stays on for about 15 seconds and it goes out I tried changing the flame sensor probee and the hot surface ignition control but no help whats my next step

    Take some microamp

    readings during that 15 seconds it stays on. You should have between 2 to 10 microamps, 3 to 5 is the norm. Even though you have replaced the sensor make sure it is positioned correctly in relation to the burner. It should be about a 1/2" to 1/4" above the burner and at least 3/4" into the flame. Make sure the burner nearest to the sensor is lighting completely and is not blowing by the sensing rod, if it is then adjust the primary air to the burner to stabilize it.
