How's your DNS ?

Go to <a href="http://www.dns-ok.us/">www.dns-ok.us/</a>

Do it today, or get ready to pay...

It seems as though some cyber criminals wrote a malware that will really mess with your PCs ability to connect to the Internet. Go to the above address to check your PC because the counter spy program that was written by our Government expires tomorrow, and then you will have to hire someone to fix your PC.

My Macs are clean and GREEN.

Your's?
It's not so much a case of "You got what you paid for", as it is a matter of "You DIDN'T get what you DIDN'T pay for, and you're NOT going to get what you thought you were in the way of comfort". Borrowed from Heatboy.

    My DNS is just fine.

I run my own name server on my on machine, so this malware cannot affect me. My name server contains the names and IP addresses of the root name servers built in, so the black hats would have to login to my machine some how, figure out how to be the super user, figure out where the control files for my name server are, and change them without changing the date of the files. I realize all this can be done by someone sufficiently clever and persistent. But so far they have not bothered.

    Ok here

I keep a PAPER copy of my network settings for each machine so I know what everything should be set to.

As malware goes this is not as bad as a lot of them can be.
