What range of pressure gauge do I use 0-60 or 1-100?

in THE MAIN WALL
The piping rises up about 40' and the mech room is on the first floor.  I will be placing gauges on the pumps( 1st floor) to read the differential and further down the system.  The pressure fill is set @ 24#.  THe main pumps is designed 50' head 85 gpm  and the boiler pumps are 20' head 85gpm.  It is a 1 pump operation.

    gauge range

    I've always been taught that gauges are the most accurate in the middle third of their range ( a 100# gauge reads best 33-66 psi). A 50' head should read about 21 psi above your static system pressure or about 45 psi on the discharge. I would use a 1-60 on the suction sides  and a 1-100 on the discharges but it shouldn't be that critical to use different gauges. Your best approach would be to use quality gauges, protect them from vibration with a snubber and install isolation valves for ease of changing down the road.
