steam replacement

in THE MAIN WALL
I'm pricing a replacement steam boiler and the house has three tube ( copper ) fin recessed convectors. These are not listed on my sq. foot calculating chart. Can someone tell me how to determine the sq. feet of steam. They are all 5-1/2" deep and range from 23 to 37" in length.

    Dan lists a lot of convectors in "E.D.R.".

    These convectors are horizontal 3 tube( copper) 5-1/2" deep by approx 2-3/4" thick.

    steam cabinet heater ratings

    As mentioned by Steamhead, you have to do some research and Dan's book is a great place to start. Don't forget that the size and shape of the cabinet comes into play in calculating the rating as well. It ain't just the element you have to consider.
