My furnace stopped working yesterday but im not sure why.

It is an American Standard Warm Air Auto Pilot Furnace.

The Power Is On and everything is connected properly.

The LED Light Inside The furnace blinks 3 times and then is steadily RED.

We checked the thermostat everything is fine.

We also tried turning off the braker and turning it on with no help.

Yesterday Night it was running fine, today because of some rain which happened over night the filter was a little bit wet so i took it out to dry , but the problem still consisted even when the filter was there.

Anyone have any suggestions?

    What is the make

of the board with the blinking lights and the model number of that board? With that information I can begin to make a diagnosis. When you say it is an "auto" pilot do you mean spark ignition?

If that board got wet that could be a problem. Do you have flooding?

    Why is the filter wet?

Water in a furnace isn't good. 3 blinks is pressure switch. Could be getting water in it too. Steady red is bad board. Get a good tech out there and tell him the codes you saw. And figure out why things are getting wet!

Is this a condensing furnace? Is the filter wet from rain or backed up flue condensate?
