Snow Melt

I have a customer who is thinking about putting in a small snow melt system. The area is only about12' x 15' - I know how the pex should be ran, I know I need a heat exchanger and I know I need to keep a glyco concentration. I want to see what is the best way to control this. Any advice or literature would be greatly appreciated.

    Tekmar is without a doubt the best, but is considered $pendy, but all the other systems I've used do not limit the slab temperature, which wastes significant energy. I had a customer the other day with an ETI switch that said when it snows, he has to chase the elk off his driveway so he can get his cars out of the garage... Seriously...

    Why not just do a manual system. Is it a public space? If so it may be necessary, but manual should be a choice as well.

    The difference in the two...

    The 665 is a bang bang control (Pulse Width Modulation) versus the 667 with variable speed injection. VSI requires an additional injection pump for control.
