    From Carrier's website

    ERROR CODE 45 - CONTROL CIRCUITRY LOCKOUT

    Auto-reset after one hour lockout due to;

    - Gas valve relay stuck open - Flame sense circuit failure

    - Software check error

    Reset power to clear lockout. Replace control if status code repeats.

    Control Board and Inducer fan replaced in May by another company. Vent sized appropriately, condensate drains are clear. Unit has proper pitch.

    Heats up quickly then shutsdown on error code. Then starts back up.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Thanks Tim. Is the flame rod the same as the igniter? Are micro amps AC or DC?

    My bad

    Just re-read your post Tim. You said check amps not voltage. Thanks.

    If the system

    has a hot surface igniter then it may also be used as a sensor or there may be a separate sensor. You are looking to measure DC microamps.
