I am looking for very low capacity radiator and convector vents for balancing.  So far I have used Hoffman 1A's , however the convector vents are physically huge and 1/4 tapping.  The ventrites also are very low capacity and I wanted to try these, but I do not know about the quality.  I hope to use these convector style vents with TRV'S from Danfoss or Tunstall.

    They are my vent of choice

    they are popular around here and I have had good luck with them. Nothing touches the Gortons for mainline but even there on small systems the vent rites work well.
    Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

    The Vent-Rite #1

    is my favorite adjustable vent for locations where the occupants want some control over how warm their rooms get. No other vent is so easy to adjust.



    For real low capacity you can't beat the Gorton #4. Besides the usual 1/8" angle configuration, you can also get it in 1/8" and 1/4" straight patterns.

    Took a look...

    at the vent rites, but they don't make a vertical adjustable....any other suggestions other than the monster Hoffman 1B.  Maybe I'll just need to install a nipple and elbow to use the Radiator vents on a convector.

    two 45's would be better

    two street 45s would also be good. you could use TRVs they have a kit that adapts them to convectors. This has a couple 45's in it.
    Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
