Oversizing Compression tanks

Amtrol's sizing calculation has repeatedly spat out sizes that are smaller than what I often see installed in similar sized buildings.

Are there any risks in oversizing a compression tank?

I work in retrofit design and generally do not have an accurate account of the system piping and volume of water; there's a lot of guesswork. Therefore being able to upsize would make me feel mroe comfortable.

Thanks.

    The only risk....

    is the loss of money.

As Dan H has said a million times, "The urge to oversize components for heating systems is stronger than the urge to have sex".

    How true it is.

It's not so much a case of "You got what you paid for", as it is a matter of "You DIDN'T get what you DIDN'T pay for, and you're NOT going to get what you thought you were in the way of comfort". Borrowed from Heatboy.
