Electric Water Heater along with Gas Boiler for radiant heat

Options
I have a propane boiler that heats both domestic and in floor heat.  I am looking for a diagram showing how I can hook up a standard electric water heater along with my system.  I am also looking at hooking up a solar panel and storage tank and need diagrams to hook it into my system as well so as to make the whole more versatile and economical.

Thanks,

James

    Why wouldja wanna do that?

Natural gas has always been the lesser expensive of the two heat sources from an operating stand point.

Is this so you can fill a larger tub or take more showers?

In any case, the solar pre heat is always first, then gas, then lastly electric.

    Piped in series.

Don't forget to provide hot water protection between the solar pre heat and the auxilliary heat sources and between them and the final load (anti scald).

It's not so much a case of "You got what you paid for", as it is a matter of "You DIDN'T get what you DIDN'T pay for, and you're NOT going to get what you thought you were in the way of comfort". Borrowed from Heatboy.
