radiant heat (temp reduction)

in Radiant Heating
  Radiant loop of system runs off 180 degree baseboard boiler. Added room

is 20x12.  I see schematics with a mixing valve.  If water starts and feeds

180 water and room drops 20 isn't the cold feed to mixer at 160 and if

continues the loop will maintain temp much higher then the 130

or so recommended?   Am i concerned too much?  My floor above piping

is plywood, radiant pad and carpet(will it take 180)

    Radiant Heat Loss and Design

    All the anwsers to your questions are found in your radiant heat loss and design. If you don't have one I would suggest you get one. The type of radiant application also applies. Is this a slab on grade? Is this joist heating with plates? Joist heating without plates? What is the R-value of the carpet pad? What is the R-value of the carpet? If you would like a professional anwser then you must be able to anwser these questions. Yes, you must use some type of mixing valve or injection pump and the answe to your " am I worried to much?" Yes if you don't have a loss or design.
