Controlling my Team Heat

Member Posts: 1
I'm having trouble controlling the temp in my house. Most of the house is steam. I have another zone that is Hot Water heat to a Baseboard. The house gets too hot no matter how low I set the temp on the Steam Heat Zone.
Any suggestions. Thank you.

Perhaps this is too obvious,
but does the thermostat turn off the boiler at its set point? There are a number of different ways to pipe and control systems with a hot water zone running off the boiler -- but that's the first question I'd ask. If the controls are wired in such a way that the boiler keeps making steam whether the thermostat in the steam heated part of the house calls for steam or not, well...Br. Jamie, osb
