Zone vs circ vs Variable speed

I'm about to install a 95% condensing boiler to an existing baseboard system; 3 zones 2000 sq ft home, 135 ft of baseboard element. One of the zones is an “old school” 1” venture loop. Boiler is a Triangle Prestige.

My original plan was to use the Grundos Alpha circ and pipe using zone valves. I’ve been getting poor feedback regarding the Alpha, so I’m re considering either a single speed 00 series or possibly 3 circs “one per zone”.

What would be the best option for this type of system?

    Take a Look at

The Taco Delta-T Circ. It's simply and easy. They have a great video class on it at their web site in the FlowPro section.

    the great debate

there has been and always will be a debate as to wether circs or valves. in you situation with only 135 ft of element in three zones going to seperate circs would be over kill and added expense. a variable speed circulator with FULL PORT zone valves, i prefer motorized over solenoiod, would work very well for you

    And here come the dinosaur

I am still a circulator addict and I like them for reliability. Just what I prefer.
Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
