It is to connect to an existing pipe (no threads) that is attached to a tank on y dads 72 Packer revival project. The pipe is galvanized but that's not the concern. 5200 will take up the iregularities under the compression collar.

I have a situation where my Dad requires a compression fitting to get from 2" schedule 40 pipe to male or female thread.

What is the application?
I have used Dresser couplings in the past. They make them with bolts on the collars so you can lock it into the pipe.
