Do the joints use gaskets?
If so, how about some petroleum jelly or silicon-based lubricant.

Concentric vent expansion noise!
Hey Guys
I have a concentric vent that has quite a few (10-15) expansion poping noises everytime it fires up. Is this common with concentric vents? What may be the best way to eliminate this? Thanks.0 -
I have much less problems
I had one or two noises for a while that then largly went away. I note that I have a longer run than normal (approaching the maximum effective run length) complete with 3 90 deg elbows instead of just 1 90 deg elbows for the simpler systems.
