Comb. Analyzers

Options
Would appreciate some feed back for favorite combustion analyzers. We have been using Backarach Fyrite with no major problems. Local rep has a Baxi HTCOA that comes with a infrared printer and a digital manometer on sale that we may move to. Anyone using this or other????

Thanks in advance.

I have used the Bacharach Fyrite Pro for years but recently switched over to a TSI CA-6130 in March.

I have been very pleased with it's speed & accuracy compared to the Bacharach.

If you are set on moving from the Bacharachs TSI makes a fine unit IMHO.

    Testo combustion analyzer

I used the Bacharach 300 for years, but found it pricy for repairs. I now use Testo analyzers and find all makes and models very easy to use. The best part is that you don't have to send the unit back to be calibrated. You simply buy the precalibrated cells from Testo and install them yourself. This translates into zero down time, which is the most important thing to any heating contractor --- especially during heating season. The analyzer kits come with infrared printers and analyzers are able to measure draft. Over the long haul, I have found these analyzers more cost effective to run. You can find all information on these units at their website http://www.test.com

We use the Baxi analyzer, no problems at all. Been using it steady for about a year with no glitches. Easy to scroll through and the printer works very well.

Have you had it recalibrated yet? If so what is the process.

    Thanks
