Strategies for controlling room temp with radiant concrete slab

My apolegies if this is a repeat topic.
I'm trying to limit air temp overshoot in a finished basement with radiant concrete slab.
It's a VS injection system with a Tekmar 356 controller and an indoor LUX brand digital thermostat. Using a thermostat seems like a guarantee for temp overshooting. Is there a better device for letting the 356 know there's a heating demand?
Thank you.

Use a Tekmar 500 series thermostat. Unless you've got some serious, quick solar gain, you won't have overshooting. Pulse width modulation, baby!0 -
Bob,
Thanks, just what I was looking for.0
