Sizing Boiler for Indirect

Okay, here we go again. Sizing up a house, 78K heatloss, and I want to install a 60 gallon indirect. All electric boiler. House is Polysteel so it is like a fridgerator. Planning on using a SMart 60 tank and an Electro boiler.

Thoughts?

    would be less expensive and more efficient as the electric goes right to the DHW without the loss of the piping, pumping and HX with the indirect.

    Depending on their DHW needs an 82 gallon tank can furnish most large households. Plenty of 50 gallon tanks in my area for average users.

    if you have the service capacity, go on-demand electric and rid yourself of the losses from that 60 gal heat radiator.

    add a little solar preheat and now you're greening.

    Never size up the boiler for indirect on residential,size up the tank instead. Kills boiler eff when you size up.

    It's an electric boiler

    It may short cycle the relays inside it, but the efficiency won't change.

    I like the separate electric water heater tank.
