Can a tekmar 512 be used with a conventional forced air cooling system (i.e. Space Pak). I use the 511s's all the time with just radiant zones, but would like to have the same control with the zones that are both radiant heat and cooling.

If so, what about continuous fan operation? That seems to be the only hang up.

sure they can, but they have no fan control so i suppose you could set it up to run the fan when theres a call for heat or just have the fan run continuously.

have you considered tekmars tN4 series heat/cool stats? (544, 545, 546) the tN4 functions can be disabled for use on a more conventional control system, and they don't really cost much more than other manufacturers multi stage stats.

No I didn't consider the tN4 stats but I should.

Bringing the fan on with a call for heat? I think the only way to do that would be through the heat relay of the 512 and then I'd have two seperate transformers colliding. Yes/no?

you're right, you'd have to use a 2 throw relay to pull that off.
