Is there an initial setting for the "set point" or the "offset"?

Buderus 2107 and RoomSensor
Can I assume that no adjustments to the set point and the offset are necessary when the Room Sensor is used with the Buderus 2107 controller?0 -
Adjustments
Many times it is suggested to change the "ROOM COMP" from the factory setting of "5" to approximately "15", depending on the type of system (range is 0 to 18, befroe changing the "setpoint" and especially the "offset". "ROOM COMP" gives the room sensor the ability to adjust the heating curve temperature based on the room temperature. The higher the "ROOM COMP" setting the more the room sensor can change the system water temperature from the programmed curve. If the area is over heating - increase the "ROOM COMP". Please contact us at 1-800-283-3787, ask for tech support for needed assistance. If this is a new install consult with the heating contractor as they may have a design in mind that we are not aware of.0 -
Initial Settings
The initial settings depends on what type of system and the design temperature. From the factory, the R2107 control is programmed for 180 degree system temperature @ zero degree outdoor temperature. "Offset" is set to "zero". The "offset" is basically an adjustment to the starting point of the heat curve. With a room sensor and a programmed value of 15 in the "Room Comp", normally the "Offset" does not have to be adjusted.0
