crew cabs

DO NOT BUY GM, sorry but my experience with them has not been good, I feel they stopped making trucks in '71. Since then it's been glorified cars they call trucks.

The new Dodge/Mercedes/Freightliner/ Sprinter gets 30mpg all day and should last 500,000.

    crew cabs

who's running the Isuzu or mitsubishi crew cabs? i'm looking at them they have alot of apeal as we are currently sending 2-3 trucks to a job principally to move the people . A crew cab could help with this Soo if your running them how many do you have , do you like them etc . mitsu now has a 175,000 mile powertrain warranty which is a plus . I just saw a Spartan crew body on a Chevy 3500 but it's weight rating is 12k and i don't think it has a side door? which would mean crawling over the seats to get in there.

    ya

Well I have two Sprinters already for service work but I'm looking for CREW cabs to move 5-6 people as opposed to sending 3 vans to a job . FYI my 3500 GMC van just smoked it's motor at 118k miles so I'm not a fan . I drive a Titan, no domestic nameplates for me had enough of that along time.

    Had Ford Vans forever-

At least the last 15 years, anyway, for service. (My baby is a 1969 Chevy Fleetside, close to mint, faster than an excuse from a manufacturer's rep's mouth). Just got my first Chevy Van, 3500, so far, love it. Personally, I think the Ford front end for the past 8 years or so has been basically useless, and one almost got me killed when it decided to un-**** itself after less than 20,000 miles. The Sprinter series seems like a great idea, mileage fantastic, great engine. Why can't they put that drive train into a vehicle that doesn't require a step-ladder to retrieve an extension ladder? As far as getting 500,000 miles, well, I myself am familiar with manufacturer's promises. The Lennox Pulse was the end all to end all at one time...

    Sprinter

I have a new Sprinter that I bought Sept 1, 05 it now has 9600 miles on it the thing has been "down" 16 days so far with 7 trips back to Freightliner. I like the van to work out of however, I can't handle the problems. Is it just me or have others had problems?
