PSE&G IN NJ REPLACED MY LOW PRESSURE MAIN WITH A HIGH PRESSURE MAIN AND ADDED A REGULATOR. THEY REMOVED THE BLACK
PIPE FROM THE OLD MAIN AND REPLACED EVERYTHING IN FRONT OF THE GAS METERS WITH GALVANIZED PIPE. MY PLUMBER SAYS THAT THE GALVANIZED PIPE IS A POTENTIAL PROBLEM. I CALLED PSE&G AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IS THE ONLY PIPE THEY USE THESE DAYS AND THAT IT WON'T BE A PROBLEM. WHO DO I BELEIVE.

galvarized
the utility co. is always right. they write their own rules as they go along & change them every hour. argue with them ---no gas . gal. protects against moisture so that is a plus. it can also flake but that is their problem.0
