    info. professional and skimming boiler

    My old american standard boiler is surging abour 1" in sight glass when burning. Sometimes it will shut off after a few minutes and not even make steam. Need to know how to skim this boiler and I am also trying to find a good steam contractor in the Cedar Rapids, IA area. Most I have talked to don't seem to know much and are not willing to assist or come to my aid.
