They Condensed Them!
No pun intended, they are in the same area as the plaster and lathe artisans and true stone masons. A dying breed due to the less expensive scorched air/ac combination units that homeowners opt for.
Look for older communities out east that still use and install steam heat due to the heigth of the buildings (steam travels quickly) and all the old systems that are still in use out there.
Dan Holohan travels these circles and probaly can give you references. Better yet, have a good talk with him and start taking some of his seminars.
Dan is one of the best when it comes to wet heating and I think he favors good old steam heat, very old school (as am I)

Perhaps you could ask your question again in a new thread ?
Sometimes posts or questions get lost in the shuffle here. I don't recall seeing yours.
If you ever want advice from an old guy or an expert you have to ask a fairly well worded understandable question. Not saying yours wasn't, just saying. You have to ask in a nice way too. If you come up to a person and insult them for not answering, don't expect to get an answer.
Most of the steam experts are now dead, currently residing on the other side of the lawn. If you want to talk to them you have to read old books or poke around in basements of old buildings.
The wall isn't a lot different than fishing or hunting, you just have to show up on the right day. Maybe your inquiry just went unnoticed.
EDIT PS I just searched drop header on the wall, found over 200 references. MOST of them were yours.....
Sorry I guess, I didn't see the twinkle in your eye or the sly smile in your typing.............. WDIK, I think I had you confused with a person on another site. Sorry again0 -

Sensative?
Speel ck Not sure who you are responding to. But yea things can get jumbled on here. Guy are a bit touchy on here sometimes. Including myself. Somtimes you ask a question and people think your a banker or hang bumpers for a living. And they talk down to you. I don't think anyone likes that. But what are ya gonna do........0
